Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Linda. I'm a licensed mental health counselor who works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families to help them navigate relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, grief, loss, and mood disruptions. I obtained my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SUNY New Paltz and specialize in couples work, utilizing an Emotionally Focused Therapy approach.

My approach to therapy

I have a warm and open therapeutic style, and approach therapy from the belief that everyone longs to be seen and understood. From this perspective, I strive to understand clients' needs, and works collaboratively and with cultural sensitivity to establish a strong therapeutic alliance and to create a space where people can feel supported, heard, and cared for.

What you can expect from me

By using a person-centered, psychodynamic lens incorporating elements of evidence-based treatment, such as cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, I work closely, supportively, and non-judgmentally with clients to aid them in becoming more comfortable in their own skin, more empowered, with less anxiety and worry, and with increased confidence and sense of self-worth.
