Great to meet you!

As a military dependent wife with years of experience in military treatment facilities and the VA, I understand the pressures service members, veterans, and their families carry. I’ve also worked in inpatient crisis settings, supporting adults through anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and substance use at their hardest moments. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I offer telehealth medication management across Missouri, and I’d be honored to help you find steadier ground

My approach to therapy

My approach starts with listening. Every visit begins with understanding what you’re carrying, whether that’s anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, panic attacks, sleep problems, or substance use, before we talk about medication. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) alongside medication management, helping you build a different relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings instead of being ruled by them. We set clear, realistic goals together and adjust your plan as your needs change, so treatment always feels collaborative, not something done to you.

What you can expect from me

On our first visit, expect a lot of questions, some that may seem irrelevant at first, because I want to genuinely get to know who you are, not just your diagnosis. We’ll talk through your history, your goals, and what success looks like to you, then build a step by step plan to get there. From there, we’ll meet regularly to track progress, adjust medications as needed, and make sure the plan still fits your life. You’ll leave every visit knowing exactly what comes next.
