Great to meet you!

Those who serve others often carry silent burdens. You show up for everyone else — but who shows up for you? I specialize in supporting individuals who navigate chronic stress, trauma, and the impact of a life lived in service, personally or professionally. My approach is both practical and compassionate — rooted in trust, humor, and honest conversation. I believe healing happens when we can safely explore the parts of ourselves that get left behind in survival mode. Together, we’ll work toward balance, resilience, and rediscovering purpose in both your work and your life outside of it.

I’m a trauma therapist specializing in working with individuals to achieve posttraumatic growth. I’m trained in EMDR, BLAST Technique, mindfulness-based stress reduction, TF-CBT, and Grief Recovery Method. For over five years, I’ve helped public safety professionals and military navigate the effects of trauma, loss, and chronic stress.

Sometimes it's easy to forget your own needs when you are consistently taking care of the needs of others. Healing doesn’t mean weakness—it means reclaiming balance, peace, and purpose. You don’t have to face the weight of it all alone. When you’re ready, I’m here to help you find your way forward. My specialties include depression, grief and bereavement, trauma, anxiety, stress, PTSD, life transitions, relationship and intimacy issues, LGBTQIA+ support, and military and veteran support.

My approach to therapy

Every individual is unique, and so is my approach to therapy. I tailor each session to meet your specific needs and goals. Therapy often requires trust and vulnerability, which can feel intimidating at first. I strive to create a safe, confidential, and compassionate space where you can freely explore your experiences, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we’ll work toward healing, balance, and empowerment—so you can live with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and to begin building a space that feels safe, respectful, and supportive. We’ll start by talking about what brought you in and what you’re hoping might change. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a full story — we’ll go at a pace that feels manageable for you.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand what’s been going on in your life, what’s helped (or not helped) in the past, and what matters most to you. We may also talk briefly about your history, relationships, work stress, and any symptoms you’re experiencing, but you are always in control of what you choose to share.

We’ll review confidentiality, how therapy works, and what our work together might look like moving forward. If it feels appropriate, we may also identify a few initial goals or areas of focus for therapy.

Most importantly, the first session is not about fixing everything right away — it’s about beginning a process of understanding, relief, and support. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and with a clearer sense of next steps.
