Great to meet you!

I've been doing this work for over 20 years, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that everyone's story deserves to be met with patience, not judgment. I've sat with people in private practice, in a fertility clinic during their hardest moments, in a psychiatric hospital, and a community mental health center - so I've seen how many different shapes struggle and resilience can take. I work with adults from 18 to 75, and especially love supporting people through trauma, PTSD, stress, depression, and the particular challenges women face. At the heart of it, I believe you already carry your own wisdom and awareness within you - sometimes it's just buried under a lot of noise and overwhelm. My job is to help clear that fog so you can hear yourself again. And for what it's worth, I'm also the mother of four fairly normal people. So I understand firsthand that life rarely gives us the calm, uncomplicated conditions we'd like, before we're asked to grow.

My approach to therapy

I lead with compassion, always. Therapy, to me, is a partnership - I'm not here to hand you answers or tell you who to be. I'm here to walk alongside you as you find your own way back to yourself. I draw from EMDR, CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Audio-Visual Entrainment, but don't believe in forcing you into a single method. Instead, I pay attention to what you need and let that guide how we work together, whether that means processing something painful from your past or finding practical tools to get through today. More than any technique, what matters most to me is that you feel truly seen in our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me will feel less like an interview and more like the start of a conversation that matters. I want to know your story - not just the symptoms or the diagnosis, but you: what has brought you here, what you've already tried, what you're hoping might finally feel different. I'll share how I work and what you can expect from our time together, but mostly, I want you to leave that first session feeling like you were heard, maybe for the first time in a while. There's no pressure to have the right words or a tidy narrative. We'll go at your pace, and we'll build something real from there.
