Great to meet you!

At the heart of every relationship is the hope to feel heard, loved, and understood. But even the most well-intentioned couples can find themselves stuck, caught in cycles of high conflict, disconnection, and communication breakdown. I work with couples who are struggling to reconnect, to repair trust, or to simply feel like they’re on the same team again.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University and my Master’s degree from Loyola University, specializing in child and family therapy. I completed my clinical training in police social work, providing counseling to families in crisis with an emphasis on family restructuring.

In addition to my professional background, my work is shaped by personal experiences of being a wife and mother for over three decades. living abroad and navigating multicultural family dynamics. These experiences continue to deepen my appreciation for the complexity and resilience of intimate relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, active, and compassionate. I help partners slow down reactive patterns, identify the deeper needs driving their conflict, and build the tools to communicate with clarity and respect. Whether a couple is working to rebuild after betrayal, navigating ongoing tension, or questioning the future of their relationship, my work focuses on breaking destructive cycles, fostering accountability, and supporting growth on both sides.

What you can expect from me

My style is collaborative and deeply engaged, with an emphasis on helping each partner understand their role in the dynamic and how to create meaningful change. While I have training in several evidence-based modalities, I primarily draw from solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in my work with couples.

My primary areas of interest include infidelity recovery and relationship rebuilding, premarital counseling, emotional regulation and anger management, intimacy and sexual concerns, interfaith and multicultural relationships, and blended families.
