Great to meet you!

I have worked in a variety of mental health settings; community mental health centers, day treatment programs, residential programs, and a hospital emergency room trauma/crisis program, all leading me to my current position, a private practice. Working in these various settings, not only gave me the experience to work with a wide range of mental health issues, but also reinforced the resilience people have under the most challenging situations.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style is interactive and goal-oriented. I use evidence-based models to help clients achieve their goals by overcoming obstacles that prevent growth and self-awareness, necessary to feeling better and improving well-being and quality-of-life. We will explore the self care, examine relationships, and negative behaviors and replace them with positive, life-enriching ones to find an appropriate balance. All work is done at clients pace.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is my clients take away from their sessions; coping skills, more clarity and understanding about their situations and an increased sense of wellbeing and life balance. Further, that my clients develop a road map on how to navigate the ups and downs that life throws their way.
