Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who works with individuals and couples navigating relationships, sexuality, identity, intimacy, and life changes. I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ clients and people in consensually non-monogamous, polyamorous, and other nontraditional relationships. My practice is sex-positive, relationship-affirming, and grounded in the belief that therapy should make room for who you actually are rather than expecting you to fit into someone else’s idea of what your life or relationships should look like. I strive to create a space where you can talk openly about the parts of your life that may feel difficult to discuss elsewhere without fear of judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, direct, and tailored to the person or relationship in front of me. I want to understand how you see the situation rather than assume I already know what is best for you. We will look at patterns, communication, boundaries, needs, expectations, and the experiences that may be influencing what is happening now. I will challenge you when it is helpful, but therapy with me is not about telling you how you should live, love, identify, or structure your relationships.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you and for you to decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been happening in your life or relationships, and what you would like to be different. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what your goals are or how to explain everything perfectly. We will begin identifying what you want to work on together and what would make therapy feel useful to you.
