Great to meet you!

I enjoy working with all clients, from infants to seniors. We help people to define and achieve their personal goals. We assess and refer as needed. We often work on relationship issues, helping to define a contract with clients, including their strengths and challenges, to pinpoint the changes they would like to make. We give individuals opportunities for change. Clients resolve marriage, divorce, custody, parenting issues, and vocational problems including depression, anxiety, and addictions.

My approach to therapy

As a social worker and clinical and supervisory marriage and family therapist, I offer many services within the individual or family's personal, cultural, spiritual, and historic interrelationships and preferences. Taking a personalized approach, we tailor our interventions to the specific needs of the clients in context. Services include art and play therapy, parenting support and education. We also help with Anger Management, ADHD, and divorce/custody issues.

What you can expect from me

Counseling allows individuals and families to explore their feelings, beliefs and behaviors, work through challenging and influential memories, identify aspects of their lives they want to change, gain greater self-awareness, set goals, and work toward desired changes. We provide a supportive place where clients use tools for making positive decisions and moving forward toward more satisfying relationships and lifestyles. Clients steer the ship, but they have a willing crew to help them.
