Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I’m a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings.

I work with children, teens, and adults, and I adapt my approach to meet each person’s unique needs and stage of life.

My passion for mental health grew through my work as an advanced practice clinician, where I saw how impactful the right care can be. I went on to pursue specialized training in psychiatry, graduating with honors in both phases of my graduate education. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers University) and later completed my post-master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

I treat a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and related concerns, and I take an individualized approach to care—whether that includes therapy-informed support, medication management, or a combination of both.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care should feel supportive, collaborative, and tailored to you. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being open, heard, and understood—without judgment. Together, we work to better understand what you’re experiencing and develop a plan that helps you feel more balanced, confident, and in control.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, supportive setting. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to gain from treatment. I’ll ask questions about your symptoms, medical and mental health history, and any current stressors so I can understand the full picture.

There’s no pressure to have everything “figured out”—you can share at your own pace. My goal is to help you feel heard and at ease.

By the end of the session, we’ll begin to outline a personalized plan that may include therapy-informed support, coping strategies, and/or medication if appropriate. You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions so you feel confident about next steps.
