Great to meet you!

"I believe that therapy should be as unique as the person sitting across from me. With nine years of clinical experience, I’ve learned that a 'one-size-fits-all' approach rarely works. That’s why I integrate evidence-based tools like CBT, EMDR, and REBT with a holistic, solution-focused framework to create a proactive plan tailored specifically to you.

My career has been defined by serving those in their most vulnerable moments—from life transitions and developmental stages to veterans and families navigating the complexities of service to individuals fighting addiction and codependency. Whether we are utilizing 12-Step principles or processing trauma through EMDR, my goal is to provide a constructive, non-judgmental space where you can find a concrete path forward. I hold an MS in Counseling Mental Health and am dually licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and Addiction Counselor (LCDC) to ensure you receive the most comprehensive support possible."

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-focused, to support your unique goals while respecting where you are, where you hope to be, and the readiness you bring to our sessions. Our focus will be on active goal setting and light therapeutic homework to encourage progress outside of our time together. I will incorporate various therapeutic modalities to create a tailored, proactive, and constructive experience for each client.

Modalities of practice include an eclectic combination of techniques from CBT, REBT, EMDR, solution-focused therapy, reality therapy, holistic approaches, bibliotherapy, and the 12-Step programs.

With 10 years of clinical experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including college students, veterans and their families, individuals in crisis, those facing addiction and codependency, as well as homeless and marginalized individuals, and probation/parole groups.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will discuss a few interview and history questions to help me know you better. Then, I want to hear from you about reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to accomplish in therapy. I will tell you a little more about me as a therapist and support your decision whether we are a good fit or not. If yes, great, if not, then I will do what I can to help you find your best therapeutic fit.
