Great to meet you!

Linda Rowan, NP, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in anxiety care and nervous system regulation. She works with children ages 6–12 who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, and autism, as well as adults across the lifespan—including patients in their 20s through their 80s and 90s—managing anxiety, depression, medication needs, and the challenges that accompany aging.

Linda provides comprehensive psychiatric care that includes both medication management and therapeutic interventions. Her treatment philosophy blends evidence-based psychiatry with holistic approaches to create lasting improvements in emotional well-being. She incorporates traditional therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside innovative methods like sound frequency treatment, designed to calm the nervous system, improve focus, and reduce stress. For children with ADHD and autism, she also provides support with educational accommodations, including 504 planning and QB testing.

Her practice is centered on helping patients achieve balance, resilience, and an improved quality of life.

Linda holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Master of Lifestyle Health Sciences & Coaching from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Morningside University, underscoring her commitment to clinical excellence and continuous learning.actice at Morningside University, underscoring her commitment to clinical excellence and continuous learning.

My approach to therapy

Mental health is not one-size-fits-all. I provide compassionate, individualized care for children, teens, and adults with a focus on anxiety, ADHD, and autism. My approach blends traditional psychiatry with holistic wellness—combining evidence-based treatments, nutritional support, and nervous system–based therapies such as sound frequency treatment.

When appropriate, I incorporate medication as part of care, but I also maximize therapy and non-medication options to promote long-term balance. For school-aged children, I offer support with accommodations such as 504 planning and QB testing. For adults, I provide comprehensive care that includes medication management, anxiety treatment, and support with the challenges of aging.

My goal is to create a space where patients feel understood, empowered, and supported on their path to lasting mental and emotional health.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we will review your mental health history, current symptoms, and any medications you are taking. I will assess your anxiety, ADHD, depression, or other concerns, and discuss how these affect your daily life, sleep, focus, and stress levels. Together, we will identify immediate goals and develop a personalized plan that may include therapy techniques, nervous system–focused strategies like sound frequency treatment, and medication management if appropriate. You will leave the session with clear next steps, practical tools to manage your symptoms, and a roadmap for ongoing care.
