Linda Rushing

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing with PMHNP specialization from Purdue University Global, a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Psychology from San Jose State University. This interdisciplinary foundation allows me to approach mental health care through a comprehensive, whole-person lens attending to the biological, psychological, relational, and gastrointestinal factors that influence emotional well-being.

I have advanced training in psychosomatic medicine and the gut–brain axis, with a particular interest in gastrointestinal microbiome testing and gut-directed psychiatric treatment. I integrate psychotherapy, nervous-system regulation strategies, lifestyle medicine, and microbiome insights to create highly personalized treatment plans.
