Great to meet you!

I’m a therapist who believes that healing happens when people feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment. My practice is built on the idea that every person has strengths, resilience, and the capacity to create meaningful change—even when life feels overwhelming or stuck.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in mental health, addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health systems. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, relationship challenges, grief, chronic stress, and major life transitions. I also have a strong background in intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), crisis stabilization, and helping clients rebuild their lives after periods of instability or loss.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, direct, and compassionate. I integrate evidence‐based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based strategies, and strengths‐focused interventions. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership—where you set the goals, and I help you uncover the tools, insight, and clarity to reach them.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm presence, my ability to explain complex emotions in a way that makes sense, and my commitment to creating a space where they can be honest without fear of judgment. Whether you’re working through addiction recovery, exploring patterns that no longer serve you, or simply trying to understand yourself better, I’m here to support you with empathy, structure, and practical strategies.

Most importantly, I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You just have to show up—and we’ll take the next steps together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and deeply grounded in trauma‐informed care. I believe people heal best when they feel safe, respected, and empowered, so I work hard to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without pressure, judgment, or expectations. Together, we identify what matters most to you and build a plan that feels realistic, meaningful, and aligned with your goals.

I draw from evidence‐based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness‐based practices, and strengths‐focused interventions. I use these tools flexibly, tailoring each session to your needs rather than forcing you into a rigid model. Some days you may want structure and skill‐building; other days you may need space to process, reflect, or simply breathe. Both are welcome.

My work often focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction recovery, relationship patterns, grief, and major life transitions. I also specialize in supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves—people who are trying to rebuild, redefine, or rediscover who they are.

You can expect me to be engaged, honest, and compassionate. I ask thoughtful questions, offer clear feedback, and help you make sense of what you’re experiencing. I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods; I’m an active partner in your healing. I’ll help you understand patterns, develop new skills, and build the confidence to make changes that last.

Most importantly, I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can exhale. A place where you don’t have to hold everything together. A place where you can explore, grow, and move toward the life you want—with someone in your corner who genuinely cares about your progress.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is designed to feel calm, welcoming, and pressure‐free. My goal is to help you settle in, get comfortable, and begin building a sense of safety and trust. You don’t need to prepare anything or know exactly what to say—just bring yourself, and we’ll take it from there.

During our first meeting, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope will feel different in your life. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your history, your strengths, and the patterns you’ve noticed in yourself. We’ll explore what’s working, what isn’t, and what you want to focus on moving forward.

I also take time to explain how therapy works, what my role is, and how we’ll collaborate. You can expect a mix of structure and conversation: space to share your story at your own pace, and guidance from me to help clarify your goals and needs. I’ll check in regularly to make sure you feel heard, understood, and comfortable with the direction we’re going.

By the end of the first session, most clients walk away with:

  • A clearer understanding of what therapy with me will look like
  • A sense of relief from being able to talk openly without judgment
  • Initial goals or themes we’ll explore together
  • A feeling of partnership—knowing you’re not doing this alone

Above all, I want your first session to feel like a place where you can exhale. A place where you don’t have to hold everything together. A place where you can begin the work of healing with someone who is fully in your corner.
