Great to meet you!

I am a Queer, Chicana, bilingual psychotherapist who provides individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I am committed to creating a welcoming space where LGBTQ+ clients and BIPOC communities feel seen, respected, and affirmed. I am trained in EMDR and certified in Existential Analysis, bringing both depth and compassion to the work. My goal is to offer a space where you can show up as your full self without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and holistic, meaning I look at the full picture of your life rather than focusing only on symptoms. My work is grounded in Existential Analysis, helping clients explore questions around identity, meaning, relationships, and the ways life experiences shape how they move through the world. I believe our emotional struggles are often influenced by personal history, culture, and larger systems, and together we can build insight and create meaningful change in a way that feels authentic to you. I specialize in working with the Latine community, especially around first-gen issues, and with community leaders and activists.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a space to share what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. I often describe myself as a sponge in the beginning because I want to fully understand you and your experiences before becoming more directive. Together, we will begin creating a treatment plan that reflects your goals and helps guide the work toward the life you want to build.
