Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and have worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and Baptist Health South Florida. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I treat conditions including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, and substance use. As a bilingual provider in English and Spanish, I am committed to making compassionate mental health care more accessible.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on each client’s individual needs. I combine evidence-based psychiatric care with attentive listening and open communication, taking time to understand the whole person—not simply their symptoms. Together, we develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, psychotherapy, education, and practical strategies for improving daily life. My goal is to help clients and their families feel informed, supported, and empowered as they work toward lasting emotional wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will create a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you can speak openly about your concerns. We will review your symptoms, medical and mental health history, current challenges, strengths, and treatment goals. I will answer your questions, explain appropriate treatment options, and work with you to establish a personalized plan for moving forward. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel heard, better informed, and confident about the next steps in your care.
