Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and a Qualified Supervisor for LMHC interns working toward licensure. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and have been working with individuals for over 18 years. Throughout that time, I’ve had the privilege of helping people navigate life’s challenges, heal from past pain, and move toward greater meaning and well-being.

I’m passionate about continuing to grow as a therapist and expanding the tools I can offer my clients. I have advanced training in Complex PTSD, Grief, Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Shame-Informed Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Motivational Interviewing. These approaches allow me to meet each person where they are and to tailor therapy to their unique experiences and goals.

My work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and collaboration—I believe healing happens in a space where you can be fully seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

In my work with clients, I aim to help people live fuller, more flexible lives by building psychological flexibility and self-acceptance. Together, we work on noticing and accepting thoughts, feelings, and sensations instead of struggling against them. I offer a safe, supportive space where growth and change can happen—where you can reconnect with your strengths and dreams.

Clients often describe me as laid back, open, honest, and loyal. I’m also not afraid to challenge you—but always in a caring, strength-based way. My trauma-focused approach includes tools like psychoeducation, coping skills training, gradual exposure, and cognitive restructuring to help ease symptoms of PTSD, depression, and anxiety.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you’re free to share your story at your own pace. My goal is for you to leave that first meeting feeling comfortable, heard, and encouraged—knowing you have a compassionate confidant who will walk alongside you on your journey.

Together, we’ll begin to explore what brings you to therapy, identify what feels most important right now, and discuss how we can best work together to meet your goals. Throughout our work, I’ll validate and affirm your experiences while gently encouraging you to step outside of your comfort zone when you’re ready—because that’s often where meaningful growth and healing begin.
