Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I have received extensive training during my education and post-graduate internships. I have over 20 years of experience helping clients through crises, healing from trauma, learning to manage stress, reduce anxiety and depression, understanding family systems, de-escalation of conflicts, navigating developmental stages and life transitions, and strengthening their problem solving skills to improve the outcomes of their lives.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a Solution Focused and Client Centered approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Education along with Expressive Arts and Mindfulness exercises to help you develop the next chapter of your story. I specialize in helping my clients learn new skills & tools to increase self-esteem, feel more empowered and improve their relationships with others, and most impactful, strengthening their relationship with themselves.

What you can expect from our first session

My approach to therapy is to use genuine caring and empathy. I am here to come alongside you, whether you are healing, learning or questioning. The story and the journey is yours. I help people to get past any roadblocks related to old coping strategies and beliefs that no longer serve them in order to develop their true selves. I teach people specifically "how to" go about making changes and implementing the skills they have asked to focus on in the areas they wish to improve.
