Great to meet you!

If you are experiencing stress, anxiety or depression, insecurity, trying to navigate a major life transition, or needing support or guidance along your spiritual path, I can help. Hi there, I’m so glad you found your way here. If anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or everyday stress have been making life feel heavier than it should, you’re in the right place. I bring 15 years of experience and two master’s degrees (in counseling and theological studies) to our work with adults across Texas, and I meet you exactly where you are, not where you think you should be. From there, we build a path toward the life you actually want to live.

My approach to therapy

Clients describe me as having a calming style, as listening intently and truly attempting to understand and empathize with my clients. I tailor your therapy to your needs and style, whether you are someone who needs more structure, as in handouts and worksheets or maybe talking and having someone to “bounce things off of”. You have a say in how you want to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mainly information gathering. I will be asking several questions about why you’re seeking counseling at this particular time and about your background, past history and your family history. You will have the opportunity to let me know your needs and your style of learning best. It won’t be a “therapy session” per se, but we will discuss some of the types of therapies we might use, what they are and talk some about how we might move forward to get you to where you would like to be.
