Great to meet you!

Welcome to the first step in your healing journey! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in PTSD as well as a multitude of issues around relationships, anxiety, depression, and anger. You may be overwhelmed, unmotivated, lost, or afraid but what I’ve come to understand is every feeling is there to teach you something valuable. When you are comfortable enough to listen, your feelings will provide you with the answers you seek. Every person is unique with their own set of gifts and talents and together, we will find who you really are.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I primarily use a psychodynamic approach to focus on things you’re doing unconsciously to build awareness about your behaviors so you can start to change them. We will explore the root cause of problems and help you understand what's going on so you can start modifying old patterns that no longer serve you. If you can see what’s broken, then you can fix it.

What you can expect from our first session

We will work on identifying goals and set up a plan on how to achieve them. This is a collaborative process where your input is valuable and necessary to get to where you want to be. I am hoping that you feel heard, seen, and have a clear understanding of the direction you need to go in.
