Great to meet you!

I am so glad you're here! Taking the time to take care of you is so important, and looking for the right therapist is a big part of the process.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, and I completed my APA accredited postdoctoral fellowship focused on women's health and military sexual trauma at the Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Afterward completing my fellowship, I worked at the Orlando Veterans Affairs Health Center. I am currently only in private practice, and I have experience working with veterans and have focused on treatment needs including: depression, anxiety, PTSD, gender issues, stress, ADHD, and familial/parenting stress.

My approach to therapy

I use treatments backed by rigorous scientific research to ensure you get the tools you need to reach your goals. Of course, each session is tailored to the unique needs of the person I'm working with and I aim to meet you where you are on your mental wellbeing journey.

What you can expect from me

The first session can feel a little disorienting as most people come in wanting to jump right into the work. However, I am dedicated to making sure you get the exact tools that you need for success. In our first session, please be prepared for me to ask you a wide range of questions so that I can get a comprehensive picture of your mental and physical health history, as well as getting a solid understanding of what your goals are for treatment.

My personal style tends to be both warm and humorous, irreverent where appropriate, but always respectful. Helping people achieve their goals brings me immense joy, and I am always looking to celebrate your success!
