Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward better mental health is an act of courage, and I am here to support you every step of the way. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am committed to providing compassionate, personalized care that honors your unique story, background, and lived experiences. I take the time to truly understand who you are, your strengths, your challenges, and your goals, so that together we can build a care plan that is both meaningful and effective. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of lasting progress, and I am dedicated to creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.

My approach to therapy

I have experience treating a broad range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, panic disorders, trauma, anger management, stress, relationship challenges, women's issues, and chronic conditions. I also place particular emphasis on the role that cultural identity and personal context play in mental health and wellness, recognizing that no two people's journeys look the same.

What you can expect from me

During your first medication management session, we will review your current symptoms, mental health history, medications, treatment goals, and any previous medication experiences. We will discuss how your symptoms are affecting your daily life and identify treatment options that best fit your individual needs and preferences. If medication is appropriate, we will review potential benefits, risks, side effects, and alternatives before developing a treatment plan together. Follow-up recommendations will be discussed to monitor your response to treatment and make adjustments as needed.
