Great to meet you!

I’m Lindsay Bauer, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and my interest in therapy is deeply rooted in my own experiences, particularly growing up with divorced parents. This background has profoundly influenced my desire to understand relationships through a healthy lens. I am passionate about helping others build tools within their relationships to foster connection and resilience.

My fascination with the mind-body connection led me to pursue yoga teacher training in 2014, which has significantly shaped my practice. I integrate body-centered approaches into my work, promoting a holistic perspective that supports healing from the inside out. This approach helps clients achieve more lasting changes in their lives.

I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, and my professional experience spans community mental health settings, private practice, and wellness centers. I specialize in individual counseling, couples therapy, infertility support, and navigating life transitions. My clients often seek assistance with anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.

I strive to create a safe and empathetic environment where everyone feels understood and valued.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a holistic approach to therapy that integrates various modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). This blend allows me to tailor my techniques to meet each client's specific needs. I prioritize collaboration, empowering you to uncover your strengths and develop strategies for emotional well-being. My goal is to foster a therapeutic alliance built on trust and respect, enabling you to explore your challenges and aspirations in a supportive space.
