Great to meet you!

I'm Lindsay Evans. I am a licensed counselor in the state of Texas and a maternal mental health specialist. I help women during and after pregnancy as they adjust to the myriad of new challenges that motherhood brings. Becoming a mother is a biological, psychological, and social transformation that gives, takes, and changes so much. The challenges of this time are too often underestimated, leaving many mothers feeling overwhelmed and without help that could benefit themselves as well as their children. Through specialized expertise in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, I provide counseling that empowers and equips my clients to flourish in their new season of life.

I use a combination of psychoeducation and evidence-based modalities, including Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, Dialectical Behavior, and Mindfulness. Though my treatment is tailored to your individual needs and goals, I hope that you emerge from our sessions with a greater sense of confidence and peace.

If you are curious about how I might be able to help, please message me to schedule a free phone consultation. I would be honored to work with you! You may also visit my website to find more detailed information about my qualifications and credentials. I look forward to meeting you!

My approach to therapy

Through a warm and supportive relationship, I aim to create an environment where you feel genuinely accepted, challenged to consider new pathways, and encouraged to gain insights and develop the tools necessary to thrive. Although my therapeutic approach is flexible and individualized, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Interpersonal, Cognitive Behavioral, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.

What you can expect from me

I believe that through periods of difficulty lie opportunities for personal growth and transformation. In our sessions, you can expect to find therapeutic support, evidence-based resources, and relationship-based healing to empower you to navigate your life’s challenges and find greater health, wholeness, and balance in your own life.
