Great to meet you!

I’ve been a therapist for over 15 years, and I truly love what I do. I have a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision and specialize in anxiety, relationships, holistic health, and women’s mental health. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and practical. I want therapy to feel like a real conversation where you feel comfortable being yourself, feel understood, and leave with something that actually helps.

My approach to therapy

I don’t believe therapy should feel one-size-fits-all. Some days we may dig deeper into patterns, and other days we’ll focus on what’s happening right now and what can make things feel more manageable. I use an integrated approach but most often use CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you shift unhelpful patterns, recognize your strengths, and find practical ways forward. I’m interactive in sessions, ask questions, offer perspective, and want you to leave feeling like the conversation was actually helpful.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll share a little about myself and my practice because I think you have a right to know who you’re talking to, too. We’ll go through a few housekeeping things, and then spend most of our time talking about what brought you in and what you’d like to be different. There’s no pressure to tell me everything at once. The goal is really to get to know each other, start making sense of what’s going on, and see where we can go from there.
