Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in anxious thought loops, struggling in your relationships, or trying to navigate a major life transition, therapy can give you a place to sort through what’s happening and figure out what needs to change. I work with children, teens and adults facing anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and life transitions, with a particular focus on women’s and maternal mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum, and infertility. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Indiana with more than 10 years of experience working in mental health. My background includes integrated behavioral health within an OB/GYN setting, which has given me particular experience supporting clients through reproductive and maternal mental health concerns. I value authenticity, humor, and creating a space where you don’t feel like you have to censor yourself or have everything figured out before you walk through the door.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, direct, and empowering. I’ll meet you with compassion while also helping you recognize patterns, challenge what’s keeping you stuck, and build practical tools that actually fit your life. My approach is integrative and draws from IFS, CBT, and DBT depending on what you need. That might mean understanding the parts of yourself that show up under stress, challenging thought patterns that feed anxiety or self-doubt, building skills for managing intense emotions, or working through relationships and life changes in a way that feels more manageable. Therapy can be meaningful and productive without feeling overly formal or clinical. I want you to feel like you can show up as yourself, talk honestly, and leave with a better understanding of what’s going on and what you can do next.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mostly about getting to know you—what brought you to therapy, what life looks like right now, and what you’d like to be different. We’ll talk about your goals, what you’ve already tried, what has or hasn’t helped, and what you need from therapy for it to actually feel useful. You don’t need to show up knowing exactly what you want to work on or how to explain everything perfectly. We can figure that out together and start building a plan that feels realistic and collaborative.

If this sounds like the kind of therapy you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you.
