Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PsyD) and certified school psychologist. I have worked across school, outpatient, and intensive outpatient clinical settings, as well as in collaboration with a neuropsychologist, which has given me a broad understanding of both emotional and cognitive aspects of functioning across different levels of care.

I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My clinical experience has allowed me to support individuals with a wide range of needs, from acute stress to longer-term patterns that impact daily functioning and well-being.

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in evidence-based practices, with an emphasis on helping clients build insight, flexibility, and practical tools that support meaningful change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to each individual’s goals, history, and comfort level. I draw from evidence-based practices and integrate a range of therapeutic techniques, flexibly adapting treatment as needed rather than relying on a single model.

A central focus of my work is supporting increased psychological flexibility, self-compassion, emotion regulation, and healthier interpersonal functioning. I aim to help clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, while building practical skills that support meaningful and lasting change.

I often conceptualize concerns within the context of family systems, roles, and patterns of reinforcement, as well as the ways significant life experiences and memories shape one’s sense of self. Throughout treatment, I prioritize a thoughtful, responsive approach that aligns with each client’s evolving needs and values within an evidence-based framework.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a collaborative and thoughtful introduction to the therapy process. I focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you in, and beginning a preliminary clinical conceptualization that can guide initial goals and direction.

We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with space for as much or as little sharing as you are ready for. From the beginning, I aim to be transparent about the therapeutic process and to discuss fit openly, as I believe the therapy relationship is central to meaningful work and should feel like a good match.

Throughout treatment, we will continue to check in about whether the approach feels helpful, whether your needs are being met, and whether the pace and methods feel right for you. While diagnosis is part of the clinical process and can be useful for certain purposes, I view it as one limited framework among many, and not the primary lens for understanding the deeper work of therapy.
