Great to meet you!

My name is Lindsay, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) working in New York City via tele-health. As a systemically trained therapist, I consider the various identities and systemic pressures that clients encompass. I work with individuals, couples, and families to navigate these pressures within themselves and their relationships to help reduce distress.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I aim to create a collaborative and inclusive space to help clients reach their desired goals and help activate change. I employ an experiential and integrative systemic therapy approach; including core models of Emotionally-focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness techniques.

What you can expect from our first session

My core belief is that we all have the internal resources and strengths to achieve the change we want to see, and sometimes, we need support accessing those. Therapy is a great place to understand the skills we already have, and utilize them in effective and healing ways. You can expect to learn more about yourself in therapy, and gain better access and knowledge to the skills and strengths you hold.
