Great to meet you!

Life can be heavy. Whether you're carrying the weight of past wounds, navigating overwhelming emotions, or simply feeling stuck — you don't have to find your way through alone. Healing begins in a relationship that feels safe and authentic. My work is rooted in warmth, compassion, and deep respect for the courage it takes to ask for support.

I help people who would like to address trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, attachment, and interpersonal relationships.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I came to North Carolina for college and fell in love with the area. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and my Master of Social Work from NC State University.

When I'm not meeting with clients, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our three children, whose ages range from middle school to college. I love spending time by the water or exploring Raleigh's greenways, and I enjoy adventures that allow me to experience different cultures and connect with people from all walks of life. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for each person's unique story.

My approach to therapy

Using a holistic, trauma-informed approach — and evidence-based tools including EMDR — I honor the connection between mind, body, spirit, and relationships. I practice psychodynamic therapy and utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy tools when appropriate. I am happy to explain different methods, and allow the client to express their preference.

Together we will

  • process anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and overwhelming emotions
  • explore relationship struggles, attachment wounds, and life transitions
  • build greater self-understanding, emotional balance, healing and peace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will look forward to hearing how you hope I can help you. I will also allow you to take the lead and give an overview of what your life has been like, including challenges and strengths. We will go at your pace, and there is nothing to fear. Meetings are 52-55 minutes.
