Great to meet you!

I have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, and families dealing with life transitions, adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, familial relationship struggles, stress management, and issues related to foster care and adoption. I provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients, helping navigate identity, new and everchanging relationships, and various life stressors in a non-judgmental and compassionate space. Whether working through past trauma, managing daily stress, or navigating life transitions, I am dedicated to supporting each person on their journey toward growth, healing, and self-exploration.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in a strengths based, person-centered framework and integrates aspects of mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and CBT strategies to support clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and life-related challenges. I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to encourage you to explore your emotions, thoughts, and help process past experiences. I encourage self-reflection and introspection to help explore the "why" behind your personal decisions and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

I want you to share with me as much as you feel comfortable. There is no pressure to tell me everything all at once! I don't need to know it all right away. I hope to build a strong and trustworthy therapeutic relationship with you. I understand it's hard to share personal experiences to a stranger.

For our first session, I would like to learn more about who you are and where you are now in life as an individual, and learn about why you are choosing to start therapy now. Whenever you're ready, I would love to learn more about your background and personal experiences that led up to this current version of yourself. I know starting therapy can be scary. I am here to support you to make you feel heard. I'm so proud of you for choosing yourself and taking time to focus on you. You deserve it. I would be honored to help you along your journey.
