Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Lindsay Shelton. I have worked in the mental health field since 2017, beginning my career in crisis services supporting individuals and families through challenging seasons of life. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and my Master of Education from Lamar University. I have a passion for supporting women and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, infertility, maternal mental health, and major life transitions. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and authenticity. My approach is warm, open-minded, and direct, meaning I will meet you where you are while also helping you identify patterns, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change. I tailor therapy to each client's unique needs, experiences, and goals.

What you can expect from me

Whether meeting in the office or through a virtual session, clients can expect a warm welcome and a supportive environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves. Our first session will focus on getting to know you, understanding what challenges you are facing, and exploring what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we will begin creating a plan that supports your healing, growth, and overall well-being.
