Great to meet you!

Watching your child struggle with big emotions, a tough diagnosis, or a hard day at school can leave you feeling just as stuck as they are. I'm Lindsay, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate those moments and build real coping skills. My clinical experience includes anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation, and behavioral challenges. I believe in a whole-person approach, recognizing that emotions, relationships, and life experiences are deeply connected, and I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you and your family feel understood and comfortable being yourselves.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that meaningful change begins with connection, trust, and understanding. I take a warm, collaborative, and individualized approach, recognizing that no two clients have the same experiences, challenges, or needs. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and my extensive background in behavioral and emotional interventions, I work to help clients better understand their emotions, recognize unhelpful patterns, and develop practical strategies for navigating life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

I believe the foundation of a successful therapeutic relationship begins with feeling comfortable, understood, and genuinely supported. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss the concerns that brought you to therapy, and explore what you hope to accomplish. I recognize that opening up to someone new can feel overwhelming, particularly for children, adolescents, and young adults; so I prioritize creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment where clients can feel at ease.

When working with younger clients, I often begin by connecting with parents or caregivers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their child's history, strengths, and current challenges. From there, we work collaboratively to establish realistic goals and develop an individualized approach that supports meaningful, lasting progress.
