Great to meet you!

Binge Eating Disorder, emotional eating, and food relationship healing is a cause close to my heart both professionally and personally. The adults I work with are cycle breakers but their relationship with food keeps them feeling burnt out when they want to feel self acceptance and open to new experiences.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing is about re-nourishment in our physical self care, emotionally, socially, and even spiritually. I utilize evidenced based modalities including CBT, ACT, and DBT. I am also astrologically informed and some of my clients wish to discuss those values with ancient mythology as a metaphor for increasing self understanding. In our first six sessions, we'll be really focused on the present day in order to gain insight and practice early changes. Together, we'll explore the underlying thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and contextual factors that maintain the binge eating disorder.

What you can expect from me

We'll get to know each other, explore what’s important to you, and what you'd hope to get out of therapy. I also like to provide lots of education on binge eating disorder, including external, big picture factors that may contribute. I look forward to hearing from you!
