Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Lindsay, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York. I practice a person-centered approach to therapy, where the therapeutic relationship is collaborative, and together, we work to create the best treatment plan for you.

I specialize in helping individuals who are struggling with traumatic experiences, anxiety, panic, depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and other challenging mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy

Within my practice, I utilize evidence-based approaches, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), attachment theory, and trauma-informed therapy.

What you can expect from me

In sessions with me, clients can expect a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where they can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors openly. My goal is to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and develop practical strategies for managing challenges. We work together to set personalized goals that align with your values and needs.

Outcomes may include increased emotional regulation, improved coping skills, greater self-awareness, enhanced self-esteem, and a reduction in symptoms of anxiety, depression, or trauma-related difficulties. I aim to empower clients to feel more confident in their ability to navigate life's challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.
