Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling immobilized by anxiety, trauma responses, low moods, relationship conflict, or patterns you can’t seem to break — you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning on the outside but internally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Therapy can be a space where we slow things down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin creating real, lasting change.

I work with adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, OCD, substance use, mood disorders, and relational stress. Whether you’re dealing with intrusive thoughts, emotional dysregulation, unresolved trauma, or recurring relationship patterns, I use evidence-based approaches tailored to your specific needs.

My training includes:

  • EMDR for trauma and distressing life experiences
  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness

Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. It is ultimately a place to feel heard and supported. Therapy can provide clarity, skill-building, healing, and growth. If you’re ready to move from simply coping to living more intentionally, I’d be honored to work with you.

My approach to therapy

I balance practical tools with deeper processing work. That might mean learning concrete coping skills, gently challenging unhelpful thought patterns, or working through traumatic memories so they no longer hold the same emotional charge.

With couples and families, I focus on improving communication, reducing reactivity, and helping each person feel seen and understood. My approach is collaborative, structured when needed, and always grounded in compassion.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and clarify what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance — just come as you are.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your patterns and together we’ll begin identifying goals and discuss which approaches may be the best fit for you.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. The first session is about building comfort, creating a plan, and making sure you feel supported moving forward
