Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy, and I received my MFT degree from Mercer University. I have been practicing therapy since 2018. I am passionate about working with adults struggling with anxiety and grief. As an LMFT, I have great knowledge and expertise helping clients navigate difficult relationships. I have been married to my husband since 2012, and we have four kids. I am also a Registered Nurse, so I have a great deal of medical knowledge in my background.

My approach to therapy

I utilize CBT techniques to explore current thought patterns that are creating distress for my clients. I then help them challenge those thoughts and create alternative pathways to a greater sense of peace mentally. I also examine client's behaviors and how those behaviors are contributing to overall feelings and wellness.

What you can expect from me

I love working with adults of all ages. When working with individuals, I try to understand their current patterns of thinking, emotions, and where trouble might be present. Initially, I will ask what you are hoping to work on in therapy. However, most of the time will be spent getting to know you from all angles. I like to have a whole picture of my client instead of just focusing on the problem.
