Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and clinically grounded environment for individuals and families navigating life’s most difficult challenges. Since earning my Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2004, I have spent over 15 years helping people move from places of uncertainty and pain toward clarity, resilience, and confidence.

My approach to therapy

I believe that meaningful change happens when you feel truly heard and empowered. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, meaning we work together to identify the tools you already possess while building new ones.

As an EMDR Certified therapist, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to help clients process trauma at a pace that feels right for them. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide practical, evidence-based solutions for managing thoughts and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, my primary focus is on getting to know you and providing a safe space where you can feel comfortable with the therapeutic process. We will spend time listening to your specific goals for therapy and discussing what you hope to achieve through our work together. This initial meeting is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about my approach or the logistics of our sessions, ensuring we establish a foundation of clarity and trust from the very start.
