Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with neurodivergent adolescents and young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. I am passionate about helping clients better understand themselves while developing practical coping strategies, emotional resilience, and confidence in their daily lives.

I currently offer virtual therapy sessions through the secure Headway platform and work with clients seeking support, understanding, and practical tools for navigating everyday challenges. Many of my clients are individuals with Autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities who may feel overwhelmed by executive functioning difficulties, social stressors, academic or career transitions, burnout, or struggles with self-confidence and identity.

Clients often come to therapy feeling stuck, misunderstood, or unsure of how to move forward. Some are emotionally exhausted from masking or trying to meet expectations in environments that do not fully support their needs. Others are learning to navigate increased independence while balancing relationships, school, work, and overall mental wellness.

I believe that progress looks different for everyone. My role is to provide a supportive, affirming space where clients feel empowered to strengthen emotional wellness, build meaningful relationships, increase independence, and define success on their own terms. Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, but you do not have to navigate the process alone.

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences openly.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients develop practical coping strategies while building self-awareness, confidence, and emotional resilience. Together, we work to identify patterns that may be contributing to stress or emotional difficulties, strengthen existing strengths, and create realistic goals that support meaningful growth.

I understand that every client’s experiences, needs, and goals are unique. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to meet each individual where they are while honoring their identity, communication style, and personal definition of success.

My work with neurodivergent adolescents and young adults often focuses on emotional regulation, executive functioning, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, and navigating environments that may feel overwhelming or unsupportive. Above all, I aim to help clients feel more confident, capable, and connected as they move forward in their lives.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.

During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you may be experiencing, and the goals you hope to work toward. We may also explore important areas of your life, including relationships, school or work experiences, emotional wellness, stressors, strengths, and coping strategies. You are welcome to share at your own pace, and there is no pressure to have everything figured out right away.

I will also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and collaborate with you to identify ways we can work together to support your growth and well-being. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs and comfort level.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if it is your first experience with counseling. It is completely okay to feel nervous or uncertain. The first session is simply a starting point, and we will move at a pace that feels supportive and manageable for you.
