Great to meet you!

My name is Lindsey and I am a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and licensed certified social worker in the state of Massachusetts. I am honored to work with folks on their journey in recovery from addiction. I have worked in the field of substance use and mental health in a variety of different settings.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I aim to create an authentic, person-centered therapeutic relationship with my clients. I take a holistic approach, looking at all aspects of one's life and how we can work to create and maintain balance to help sustain recovery. We look at any unhelpful beliefs and thoughts that may be hindering their recovery. I am open to and support my clients' own personal philosophies, and any spiritual or religious beliefs that are important in their recovery.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe strongly in the power of education in recovery, so you can expect to learn a bit, whether it is about how our brain works, or some helpful tools you can begin using right away. It is also important that my clients feel heard and understood.
