Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia, I bring over 9 years of experience in the mental health field to our work together. I've had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including in-office, in-home, and community environments, as well as primary and high schools. My experience spans working with clients from age 4 through adulthood, addressing a wide range of issues such as trauma, depression, self-harm, anxiety, anger, relationship and family conflicts, mild autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, adjustment difficulties, and self-esteem challenges.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm, supportive, and interactive. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, where we work together to establish concrete goals and steps to help you overcome your current difficulties. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling. I understand that starting therapy can be intimidating, but rest assured, you set the pace, and I meet you where you are. I'm proud of you for taking this step!

What you can expect from me

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. Together, we can tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I know firsthand that seeking help can be a challenge and that it takes courage to strive for a more fulfilling and happier life. If you're ready to take that step, I'm here to support and empower you through your journey, whatever that may be.
