Great to meet you!

I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves—often navigating anxiety, trauma, or questions about identity and meaning. You might be wrestling with self-doubt, intense emotions, or trying to make sense of how your identity and faith fit together. As someone who is both a gay woman and a Christian, I understand firsthand how complex it can be to hold these parts of yourself, and I understand the reality of religious trauma. I offer LGBTQ+ and faith-affirming care, with particular experience supporting clients exploring their Christian faith, their identity, or both. As a licensed clinical social worker with experience in community mental health and inpatient care, my goal is to help you feel more at home in who you are as we move at a pace that feels safe and collaborative.

My approach to therapy

I genuinely enjoy getting to know my clients’ interests and honoring their unique ways of being. I especially love working with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent adults. I’m trained in EMDR and Brainspotting and also draw from CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care so we can tailor therapy to what works best for you. I offer a warm, grounded space where you can show up exactly as you are and begin making sense of your experiences with clarity and care.

What you can expect from me

I know it can be scary to open up about vulnerable parts of your life, and trust doesn’t happen overnight. In our first session, you can share as much or as little as feels comfortable. We’ll spend the first few sessions understanding your background, what you’re facing, and what you hope to get from therapy. From there, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on creating a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to go through this alone.
