Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can be a big step, especially if you're used to handling things on your own. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are-- without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out.

My approach to therapy

My professional approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and person-centered. I believe that therapy should be a place where you feel heard and understood, but also that it should help you move forward! I try to be direct and thoughtful, and I won't just tell you what you want to hear. We'll work together to understand what's happening, identify what is and isn't working, and figure out what you can do differently.

What you can expect from me

I'm interested not only inwhat's happening within you, but also in the relationships, expectations, culture, and systems that shape your experience. So expect me to be curious about your whole life.

I believe that you deserve to make choices about your life based on your own values-- not simply on what you've been told you should want or who you should be. I'm going to want to explore those expectations while also recognizing your strengths, autonomy, and capacity for change.
