Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Lindsey, an ATR-BC and LPC, creative arts therapist and licensed professional counselor with experience working across the lifespan in outpatient, inpatient, medical, and community-based settings. My experience includes supporting children, adolescents, and adults through trauma, anxiety, behavioral and social challenges, neurodivergence, grief, life transitions, and significant health experiences, including oncology and physical rehabilitation following injury, illness, or changes in physical functioning. I earned my Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy Counseling from Hofstra University and am a Board Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I bring a broad range of experience to my work and enjoy helping people better understand themselves, their experiences, and what they need to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. I want every client to feel heard and understood while also offering gentle challenges when they may support growth and greater self-awareness. I help clients recognize patterns in how they think, feel, respond, and relate to others, while exploring the connection between emotions, physical experiences, and logic. I use the approaches that feel most helpful to each person, whether that is primarily talk therapy, creative interventions such as writing, drawing, and visualization, or a blend of both; no artistic experience is necessary. Ultimately, my goal is to help clients better understand themselves and develop practical tools that feel authentic to who they are and where they want to go.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship that feels comfortable, genuine, and nonjudgmental. If you already know what you would like to work on, that is great; if you are not quite sure, we can figure that out together. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, what is currently affecting you most, and the areas of your life you would like to improve or better understand. From there, we will create a general pathway for our work together, while allowing it to evolve as your needs and experiences change. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of what we can work toward together.
