Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides compassionate, client-centered therapy to individuals, adolescents, families, and couples navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master of Social Work from the University of Utah, and I bring a strong foundation in evidence-based practice paired with a genuine commitment to helping clients feel understood and supported.

I have experience working with children and adolescents, including providing individual and group therapy during my internship with the Alpine School District. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, substance use and addiction, identity exploration, and the lasting effects of trauma. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed and collaborative approach, allowing treatment to be tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

A particular focus of my practice is supporting individuals and families navigating the emotional and psychological impact of leaving a religious or high-demand organization. I understand how this transition can involve grief, confusion, identity shifts, and relational strain. I offer a nonjudgmental and affirming space for clients to process these experiences and reconnect with their values and sense of self.

I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, respectful, and empowering. Whether I am working with teens, adults, or couples, my goal is to help clients build insight, emotional regulation skills, and resilience so they can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood, and actively involved in their own growth and healing. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to create an integrative approach that is both practical and deeply reflective.

I often incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build momentum toward meaningful change. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) inform my work by helping clients understand thought patterns, regulate emotions, and develop effective coping skills for managing distress and improving daily functioning.

I also use Narrative Therapy to support clients in exploring the stories they tell about themselves and their experiences, helping them separate from unhelpful narratives and reconnect with their values, identity, and sense of agency. For clients processing trauma or overwhelming experiences, I integrate EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS)–informed approaches to promote healing at a deeper level, supporting both emotional regulation and long-term resilience.

When working with couples, I am Gottman Level 1 certified and utilize Gottman-informed interventions to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and foster emotional connection. I help couples better understand interaction patterns, manage conflict more effectively, and create a stronger foundation of respect and empathy.

Overall, my goal is to provide therapy that is supportive, structured, and adaptable—meeting clients where they are while helping them move toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

From our first session, I prioritize a thorough intake process to gain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s history, current concerns, strengths, and the context in which challenges are occurring.

Together, we identify clear, meaningful goals that align with the client’s values and what they hope to change or improve in their life. Treatment is then tailored using evidence-based methods that best support those goals, while remaining flexible as needs evolve. I regularly check in on progress, adjust interventions as needed, and encourage open feedback to ensure therapy remains effective and relevant.
