Lisa has been has been a nurse for 34 years. For over 12 years she has been a nurse practitioner. Her experience includes: child/adolescent out patient services, residential services, In-Patient Mental health Seervices, Partial Outpatient Mental Health Services and Outpatient mental health services.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Lisa believes in a holistic approach. She believes in a combination of therapy, medical health maintenance, supportive therapy and medication can be helpful in the healing process. The patient, any involved family and the provider will come up with a treatment plan to manage symptoms that can include anxiety, impule control, focus and depression.

What you can expect from our first session

A client can expect learn new coping skills and revisit positive coping skills to help them cope, be aware of triggers. medication that will help them stabilize while being educated on potential side effects, adverse reaction, risk vs benefits and on-label/ off label use of psychotropic medications being prescribed.
