Great to meet you!

I am Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with more than 25 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in helping clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and stressful life transitions.

My clients are frequently thoughtful, intelligent, and creative individuals who may feel especially sensitive to their environments and relationships. Many people experience challenges such as feeling overwhelmed in crowded or noisy settings, becoming easily overstimulated or irritated by daily stressors, struggling with emotional exhaustion, or experiencing burnout after years of prioritizing the needs of others.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach focuses on helping clients gain insight into the underlying causes of their emotional distress while developing practical skills for improving emotional regulation, resilience, and overall well-being. I work collaboratively with clients to identify unmet emotional needs, establish healthier boundaries, and cultivate sustainable self-care practices that support long-term growth and balance.

What you can expect from me

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among other evidence-based treatment approaches. I tailor treatment to the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each client, creating a personalized therapeutic experience.

I believe that therapy should be a supportive, comfortable, and empowering process where clients feel safe, understood, and encouraged to make meaningful changes in their lives.
