Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience helping children and adults cope with life stress, build healthier relationships, and heal from emotional trauma. I pride myself on high ethical standards of practice to provide a safe space for my clients to heal, evolve, resolve, and release emotional barriers. I also try to make sure we laugh a little along the way!

My approach to therapy

Your therapy journey is personal to you. That is why my approach includes various therapeutic interventions to provide the most clinically appropriate treatment for your needs. I include Theories of Complimentary and Integrative Medicine as it relates to mental health. Therapy practices also include Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Brief Strategic Therapy, and others. I provide a realistic approach and value the client's perspective.

What you can expect from me

The hope is that my client's therapy journey results in an understanding of how core values impact how choices are made. Past trauma, undesirable behavior patterns, and emotional distress will have resolution, or clients will have developed significant tools to manage emotional reactions in more positive and healthier ways. Clients will have a better understanding of how others in their life impact the choices they make.
