Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, trauma, eating concerns, or major life transitions begin affecting your sense of stability and well-being. You may be feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself or others, or unsure how to move forward. I work with adults and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, end-of-life concerns, family stress, relationship difficulties, identity issues, anger, and stress management challenges.

With 27 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, I provide a warm, affirming, and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we will explore what is contributing to your current struggles, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies to support healing, emotional balance, and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in practical skill-building. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-Solving Therapy to help clients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. Therapy may involve identifying unhelpful patterns, strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, building motivation for change, and developing realistic steps toward your goals.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorder recovery, stress, anger, relationship challenges, family concerns, identity issues, or end-of-life transitions, our work will be tailored to your needs and pace. My goal is to help you feel more empowered, resilient, and capable of managing difficult emotions and life circumstances.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where your experiences are taken seriously and your goals guide our work together. In our first sessions, we will talk through what brought you to therapy, what has been difficult recently, and what you hope will feel different moving forward.

As we work together, you may develop stronger coping strategies, greater self-awareness, healthier communication, improved stress management, and more confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to support you with compassion and practical tools while helping you move toward greater emotional well-being, clarity, and personal growth.
