Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Lisa (she/ella) and I'm super passionate about working with teens and young adults from diverse backgrounds. I am a therapist who is intentionally compassionate and kind where you can feel at ease and in control of your treatment with a person who feels like a real, relatable human being. I have about 10 years of experience and specialize in working with clients struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and general relationship issues. In-person availability on Fridays and one bi-weekly Sunday spot (reserved for teens or students).

My approach to therapy

I enjoy having a collaborative approach in my sessions where you will feel confident to express your needs, have guidance to identify realistic goals, and learn more about yourself. My goal is to create a sense of trust in our therapeutic relationship, allowing you to show up as your authentic self and be open to stepping out of your comfort zone to move towards a healthier state of being. I use a range of modalities including EMDR, solution-focused, and CBT all while being culturally attuned.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for you to leave session with renewed confidence and hope that things can get better. You will leave with strategies to help you cope with emotions, improve life skills, and overall take those small steps towards your bigger goals.
