Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m a licensed therapist with specialized training in depression, anxiety, executive functioning skills training, trauma, disability services, neurodiversity, family therapy, and court involvement. We often come to college hoping to shape our future, but along the way, we’re also figuring out who we are and what we want. That journey can be exciting, but it’s not always easy. There might be stress, anxiety, identity questions, family challenges, or more complex issues like trauma or disability. You don’t have to face those things alone. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in understanding your unique experience. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We’ll work together to create a space where you feel respected, supported, and truly heard. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. My goal is to make our sessions feel safe and comfortable. You are the expert on your life. I’m here to walk alongside you, offer skills and tools, and help you make sense of things. I look forward to meeting you.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and validating. I want to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected. I take a trauma-informed approach, recognizing the impact of past experiences while prioritizing safety, choice, and empowerment in the present. Drawing from ACT, DBT, and CBT, I integrate practical skill-building with meaningful exploration. This helps clients develop emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and move toward values-driven living. I also attend to underlying dynamics and patterns, supporting clients in gaining insight while building tools for lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a supportive, low-pressure space focused on getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant background that feels important to share. This is also a time for you to ask questions and get a sense of how I work.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals for therapy and what you’d like to change, improve, or better understand. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, with an emphasis on building trust, clarity, and a shared direction for our work moving forward.
