Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist, experienced working with adolescents and adults managing anxiety, obsessive thoughts, perfectionism, disordered eating, and relationship issues. My graduate training and internship were conducted in New York City, and I also completed my postdoctoral year at a NY-based practice. I have an integrative and holistic approach to treatment. In working with issues of emotional dysregulation, motivation, communication, and self-esteem, I tailor therapy to each client’s unique experiences and goals. We'll focus on helping you remain accountable to your goals, with flexibility and self-compassion.

I'm a certified DBT provider and also certified in perinatal mental health.

My approach to therapy

Sessions are active and often balance more exploratory or unstructured work with skills-based interventions. I draw extensively from principles of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I incorporate techniques grounded in mindfulness-based self-compassion (MSC).

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know each other. Much of the first (and sometimes the initial few sessions) prioritize assessment and history/background, as well as setting goals that will help keep sessions focused going forward. We can always add/ adjust goals, but it's important to me to understand what you're most interested in working on and for us to have a way to track your progress.
